Field Basketball Academy (FBA) is a girls basketball development program serving athletes in 4th through 7th grade. Our mission is to develop basketball players for life by providing high-level instruction, meaningful competitive opportunities, and a structured environment that promotes confidence, discipline, and growth.
FBA focuses on long-term player development. We are committed to teaching the game the right way, emphasizing fundamentals, basketball IQ, work ethic, and competitive excellence. Our goal is to help each athlete reach her full potential while creating opportunities for future success at the middle school, high school, and beyond.
We operate as a unified program, with multiple teams organized by grade level. While each athlete has a primary team, we maintain flexibility in roster assignments to ensure every player receives the best possible developmental and competitive opportunities.
Nick Field is the founder and director of Field Basketball Academy. He has over 15 years of experience coaching and developing youth and high school basketball players.
Coach Field has served as a head coach, assistant coach, trainer, and evaluator at multiple levels of the game. Throughout his career, he has helped develop players who have gone on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels, as well as many who have continued their involvement in basketball as coaches, educators, and leaders.
Coach Field has coached at nationally competitive levels, led championship-caliber teams, and built successful programs focused on both player development and long-term success.
He founded Field Basketball Academy to create a program dedicated specifically to the development of girls basketball players, with a focus on providing the best possible instruction, opportunities, and environment for growth.
